PC requirements
PC requirements for Escape from Playtime are a Windows 10/11 machine with DirectX 12. The minimum processor line is Intel Core i3 9100 / AMD Ryzen 5 3500, with 8 GB RAM and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 / Radeon RX 470. The recommended line steps up to an Intel Core i9-11900k / AMD Ryzen 9 5900x, 16 GB RAM, and a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 / Radeon RX 6800XT.
Controller support is partial. Some controllers fail, and keyboard plus mouse is optimal. Windows is the only platform, and both columns need a 64-bit processor and operating system. Storage size and the price have not been announced.
Minimum and recommended side by side
Both columns share Windows 10/11 and DirectX 12. The difference is the processor, the memory, and the graphics card. Choose Minimum, Recommended, or Both. Both is the default, and on a narrow screen the two groups stack.
A machine on the minimum can launch. The recommended card and the extra 8 GB of RAM are the comfort target when several players share a dense room. The two columns are the part lists to check, not a benchmark score.
Check the processor string Intel Core i3 9100 / AMD Ryzen 5 3500 before you promise a friend the minimum box will be fine.

Input, language, and the beta graphics fault
Controller support is partial, so a pad may work and may not. If a controller fails during the open beta, switch to keyboard and mouse rather than hunting a dead binding. Steam remote play or stream input is not carried over and can break voice chat, so a streamed pad is a poor way to test the build.
Full audio is English. The other languages are French, Italian, German, Spanish - Spain, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese - Brazil, Russian, and Simplified Chinese. Red reflections can appear when RTX is enabled. The workaround is in the NVIDIA Control Panel: open Manage 3D Settings, set Anisotropic Filtering to Off, apply, and relaunch. That is the one graphics fault with steps.
Turn Anisotropic Filtering off, apply, and relaunch if RTX reflections go red. That NVIDIA path is the only graphics fix with steps, and the known-issues page repeats it. Relaunch after the change.
Ratings, sharing, and what is not listed
The age ratings are DEJUS 14, a German rating of 16, and IGRS 18. Family Sharing is available. The modes include Single-player, Multi-player, Co-op, Online Co-op, Online Co-Op, Horror, Extraction, and PvE. The open beta still recommends a crew of 4 inside a cap of 8, while the game itself is 1 to 4 players.
Textures and sections of floors or walls can clip on any of these machines, and that world fault has no workaround. The minimum processor Intel Core i3 9100 / AMD Ryzen 5 3500 is the floor to check before you install the October test. A laptop that cannot show Windows 10 or Windows 11 is outside the supported line.
DirectX 12 is the graphics API on both columns, so an older DirectX install is below the floor.
The recommended RTX 3070 or RX 6800XT is a comfort target, not a requirement to join the open beta.
Eight gigabytes of RAM is the minimum memory line, and sixteen gigabytes is the recommended line.
Spanish - Spain is the Spanish audio, so a Spain Spanish track is what you get.
Portuguese - Brazil is the Portuguese audio on the same language list.
Windows 10/11 and DirectX 12 are shared by the minimum column and the recommended column, so the split is the chip, the RAM, and the card.
Eight GB RAM is the minimum memory, and 16 GB RAM is the recommended memory. Storage size has not been announced.
The GTX 1650 or RX 470 is the minimum graphics line, and the RTX 3070 or RX 6800XT is the recommended graphics line.
The i9-11900k or Ryzen 9 5900x is the recommended processor, a step up from the i3 9100 or Ryzen 5 3500 floor.
Partial support can still mean your pad fails, and the optimal pair remains keyboard and mouse.
English has full audio, and the other languages are French, Italian, German, Spanish - Spain, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese - Brazil, Russian, and Simplified Chinese.
A streamed controller is a poor test, because remote play input is not carried over and voice chat can break with it.
Red RTX reflections are the graphics fault that has steps, and clipped floors are the world fault that has none.
Family Sharing is on, and the age lines are DEJUS 14, German 16, and IGRS 18.
You can play alone or together. The modes cover Single-player, Multi-player, Co-op, Online Co-op, Horror, Extraction, and PvE.
You can view Minimum, Recommended, or Both. On a phone the two groups stack, and no field is dropped.
The price has not been announced, and the open beta uses these same PC requirements.
A desktop on Windows 10 or Windows 11 is the machine the two columns describe.
There is no Linux build and no macOS build. A 32-bit Windows install is outside both columns, because each one asks for a 64-bit processor and operating system.
